Coach Anthony Agresta welcomed the news given they were preparing to head into the decider without the experienced midfielder.
"We got an email late last week but were just waiting for everything to be ticked off, but at this stage, it looks like we will have Andy for this weekend unless something drastic happens in the next 48 hours," he said.
"For us, with Michael (Mustiano) bein out it gives us a player coming back in with a wealth of experience and it softens the blow a little bit."
Having made the change across to the Football Wagga competition at the start of the season, Agresta said they hoped to make it to this stage and is happy with how the side is looking heading into the decider.
"It has been a good season for us across the board with reserves and women's also playing on Sunday," he said.
"We have always said that every competition you enter you want to win otherwise you are playing for the wrong reason.
"We just wanted to put ourselves in a strong position, and now we will just see where that gets us on Sunday."

- Hanwood coach Anthony Agresta
There has been very little to separate the sides so far this season with two draws in the regular season while Hanwood picked up a 1-0 win to advance straight into the grand final two weeks ago.
Agresta is expecting it to be another tough struggle for dominance.
"There has only been one goal between us all season, and I think it will come down to whoever can win the battle in the midfield," he said.
"Defensively, both teams are pretty strong and hard to break down. They have a good front three that we will have to look out for.
"There isn't a real weakness for them, so all we can hope for is everyone to play at their best."
