That's the message clinical operations manager of the Griffith community care network Sandra Royal wanted to highlight as a small but dedicated group of community and primary health care nurses gathered in Griffith on Tuesday.
The nurses assembled for a day of training and acknowledgement for the hard work they undertake as part of Community and Primary Health Care Nursing Week.
The week, which is backed by the Australian College of Nursing, aims to highlight the contribution of community and primary health care nurses in their local communities.
The Griffith network covers a large area of the Riverina, with the network supplying community and primary health care nurses to Griffith, Leeton, Coleambally, Narrandera, Hay, Hillston, Lake Cargelligo and West Wyalong.

Mrs Royal said the network has about 20 nurses covering the area and they operate as a unit to ensure care is provided to as many communities as possible.
"The care that can be provided out in the community I guess doesn't get seen by everybody," Mrs Royal said.
"They work very hard to achieve and ensure that everybody gets the care they need out in their communities.
The gathering in Griffith followed a morning tea in Leeton on Monday between community and primary care nurses and members of the local hospital and local organisations.
