The Stringers will headline the Area Hotel's Accoustic Fridays from 8pm. The Poppycock Trio takes the stage at the Exies Club on Saturday from 8pm on Saturday. Genevieve Chadwick will perform at the Southside Leagues Club at 8.30pm on Saturday.

Beelbangera's Post Office celebrates 100 years
Email might be more popular than posted letters, but it hasn't stopped post offices being a corner stone of the community. Beelbangera's post office, inside the General Store, will celebrate 100 years from 10am on Saturday with cake, face-painting, market stalls and the Griffith City Band providing live entertainment.

Griffith Jockey Club to host Terra Ag Griffith Cup on Saturday
Welcome spring with the city's biggest race day at Dalton Park, with six races including the Griffith Cup. Judging for Fashions on the Field will begin after Race Two, with prizes in all seven categories. Courtesy buses leave from the visitors information centre from 11.30am to 1.15pm. Gates open at 11.30am.

Fresh food, crafts and more at Griffith Showgrounds
Griffith Rotary's markets open from 7am until midday on Sunday. Stallholders will have everything from locally grown fruit and veg to home-made garden furniture and more.
YIELD
Exhibition draws together local, state and international artists
Twenty-two artists from the Riverina, Wollongong and Liverpool in England will have their work exhibited in Griffith Regional Art Gallery. The new exhibition has been curated by Sarah McEwan from the Cad Factory and highlights emerging and established artists with a disability. Among the exhibition will be work from four senior students from the Kalinda School. The exhibition continues until September 22.
