The post office will be celebrating its centenary on Saturday with festivities at the Beelbangera General Store, which the post office is located within.
Beelbangera General Store and Post Office owner Sam Vasta said over the last 20 years the post office has continued to grow in size and usage.
"When we took over... we had about 50 or 60 mailboxes," Mr Vasta said.
"Now it's 160, 170 mailboxes plus all the point of delivery stuff.
"As the towns growing we're getting more of that [people using the post office], because there is a lot of pressure on Griffith Post Office and other ones so they are coming out here too."
The post office has changed significantly over the past century, with the original building a simple wooden shack with a steel roof which opened its doors on September 1 1919.
The original post office was replaced in 1923 with a general store and post office which stood until renovations by the Vasta family saw the building amalgamate into the current store which stands at the corner of Richards Street and Rankins Springs Road.
There have been thirteen owners of the property and Mr Vasta said two former owners are planning on attending the event on Saturday, along with the daughter of another former owner.
"We're trying to get as many original owners as possible on the day for the centenary," he said.
