In what was their final road trip for the 2019 National Premier League 1 campaign, the Rhinos have all but been relegated with not enough points on offer to save them from the drop.
The match was all but won at half-time as Canberra surged ahead by five-goals. Ryan Keir gave the hosts an early lead when he scored off a scrappy play in the 12th minute.
Jason Ugrinic and Matt Waters went on to score two nearly identical goals as Canberra secured a comfortable 3-nil lead before Daniel Barac and a second to Ugrinic saw Canberra leading 5-0 at the break.
Jordan Lamb scored three goals in eight minutes in the dying stages of the game to see the home side come away with a 9-0 victory.
The Rhinos will look to try and finish the season on a high with their final three games at home starting with Gungahlin United next weekend.
