Blacks' coach Craig Morriss felt it was a proud moment for the three juniors who ran out for the first time in first grade.
"It was a good day for the club with three debutants coming through the pathway from under 8s right through to make their first-grade debut," he said.
" I was really impressed by Bryn (Francis), and I thought Jullian Marella nearly made the most metres in the game.
"We probably had seven regular first graders out of that team today, and the communication from those kids and playing in technical positions and leading the way as 17-year-olds was just terrific to see.
"As a coach, you are proud to watch the kids do that and lead the team around."
The Blacks came out of the blocks quickly with Andrew Madden scoring after the ball popped out the back of a scrum before CSU hit back almost straight away with back to back penalties seeing them score from a lineout.
The home side started to run away with the game from there with Dan McGreal scoring twice while Madden scored his second of the game and Blake Theunissen also got over before halftime to see the Blacks leading 31-5 at the break.
Griffith started the second half down a man after Saili Robertson was given a yellow card just before the break, but it didn't halt their momentum.
Naseri Tailfai and David Serakai got over for the home side before CSU got one try back through Oliver Telfer.
In the dying stages, Lorenco Tafili was able to score after coming off the bench to wrap up the 52-12 victory.
Morriss knows his side still have plenty to work on as they prepare to take on Tumut next weekend.
"It's just the one-percenters that we have to keep working on," he said.
"To go deeper in the competition, we are going to have to nullify that last pass. Most people here would have seen us bomb four or five tries just through pushing a pass. We have to get that under control, and we will work hard on it."
