As of July 1 Searl's Newsagency is no more; the newsagency will be operating under new owners and under a new name.
Loyal customers of Searl's Newsagency on Banna Avenue can rest assured that things will stay much the same: the current staff will stay on and the newsagency will continue to offer the same products and services as it always has.

The former owners Peter and Maria Searl said they are looking forward to getting some more down-time, which they plan to spend with their friends and family.
Mr and Mrs Searl have been an incredibly hardworking husband-wife team for 23 years, but they say the time has come to start winding down the workload.
They'll continue to run the smaller Searl's Newsagency at Griffith Central, which will keep its name and stay within the Searl family hands.
