The students were attending mountain-biking and outdoor recreation classes as part of the school's new passion elective program.

Wade High School special education teacher Billy Sewel said the program started at the beginning of 2019 with teachers being encouraged to put forward their own vocations as elective classes.
"It started at the beginning of 2019 our new principal started the program which we do two hours a week, I'm into mountain biking so this is what we do," Mr Sewel said.
Griffith High School teacher Matt Spencer said he enjoyed being able to share his skills in BMX riding with the students.
Wade High physical education teacher Jessy McRae led the outdoor recreation class on an orientation circuit.
"I really enjoy being outside, and being to a lot of recreation camps I just wanted to share that with the students," Ms McRae said.
