Residents of a house on Nelson Drive were in for an unpleasant surprise when they discovered their home had been broken into, vandalised, and burgled.

Between the hours of 2am and 5am on Saturday the criminals broke into the house, poured paint throughout the rooms, and stole a radio and four rechargeable Makita batteries.
That night around 1.30am a 59-year-old man fell victim to a bag snatch on Coolah Street.
He was walking down street when he saw three men in their early 20s walking towards him.

As he passed by he felt a tug on his blue and yellow tote bag and when he looked down he saw the handle had been broken off and one of the men was carrying the bag off in the opposite direction.
The victim reported the matter to police and patrols of the area were conducted.
Roughly between 2pm on Friday and 1.25pm on Saturday a storage area was broken into, but at the time of reporting there does not appear to be any items stolen.
