Griffith police officers seized illegal drugs and a knuckle duster from the car of a 21-year-old man on January 29.

The car was driving on Ortella Street at 4.40pm when it was pulled over and searched.
During the stop the police discovered prohibited drugs as well as a quantity of prescription medication.
They also found a knuckle duster, which are classified as illegal weapons in NSW.
The man was arrested and taken to Griffith police station, where he was charged with possession of an illegal drug and an illegal weapon.
That night on January 29 a car was robbed between the hours of 9.20pm and 9.30pm.
The driver had parked their car on Wakaden Street at 9.20pm and left it unlocked while they went inside a house for a quick stop.
When they returned to their car 10 minutes later they discovered they had been burgled.
While they were gone the thieves had taken a phone which had been lying on the front seat.

Griffith Inspector Nick Seddon is reminding drivers to make sure their vehicles are always locked and to make sure any valuables are either taken out of the vehicles or removed from plain sight.
Sometime between 5pm on January 30 and 4pm on February 31 there was a break and enter at a house on Tubbo Crescent.
Thieves forced open the rear door and stole a washing machine as well as some other electrical items.
