While on Tuesday afternoon it looked as if it was a one-on-one race between former councillors Bill Lancaster and Allan Bennett, it seems the mayor’s hopes of ‘half a dozen’ more candidates has come true.
Six more Griffith residents threw their names in the hat with the intention of replacing former councillor Paul Snaidero, following his disqualification.
The candidates, as they will appear on the ballot paper, are:
- Greg Adamson
- Bill Lancaster
- Glen Andreazza
- Maree Croxon
- Roly Zappacosta
- Mohannad Suleiman
