Griffith LAC have arrested three people in a drug and firearms bust early Thursday morning.
At 7.00am, Griffith LAC Police were assisted by police from neighbouring LAC's in executing two search warrants in the Griffith Township.
Police have seized cash and drugs linked to both properties.
The warrant execution was part of Strike Force Pollock targeting the supply of illicit drugs and illegal firearms.
Three people have been arrested in relation to the items found at the properties, and are currently in custody at Griffith Police Station.
It is expected they will be charged later today with a number of drug and firearms offences.
The Griffith LAC Crime Manager Detective Acting Inspector Tim Clark commended the work by Griffith detectives.
"This is the culmination of excellent work conducted by Detectives attached to the Griffith LAC and I believe today's actions will have a significant effect upon drug supply in the Griffith Township,” Inspector Clark said.
