Hay B&S romance between Griffith boy and Goulburn girl results in baby

Griffith boy Mitchell Hill and Goulburn girl Samantha Coggan met at the ball last year, instantly fell in love and have been a couple since. Ten weeks ago, Samantha gave birth to gorgeous baby boy Dustin. 

While other blokes used pick up lines like be my cuddle buddy, and can I touch your velvet leggings to great effect, Mitchell decided action spoke louder than words. 

“I noticed him smiling at me on the dance floor. I though, wow, he’s so cute. He just walked over, took my hand and started twirling me around. He didn’t say a word,” Samantha said. 

Samantha is convinced their meeting was fate.

“I usually go to the Cootamundra B&S, but it was cancelled, so I came to Hay for the first time. We clicked straight away, we have all the same interests. We want to spend the rest of our lives together,” she said. 

Samantha is a 27-year-old chef and Mitchell a 25-year-old marine mechanic.
