Wagga batted first and after losing their first wicket on 13, put together two solid partnerships that saw the third wicket fall at 83.
Griffith bowlers were then able to tighten up and did well to restrict the Wagga score to 6/115 at the end of their 40 overs.
Reif Leach was the pick of the bowlers, capturing 3/12 off eight overs. Kobi Nancarrow, Ted Files and Matt Andrighetto all picked up a wicket.
Wyatt Carter (seven) and Ted Files (11) gave Griffith a good start and their partnership was not broken until the score reached 27.
Then wickets fell steadily with Reif Leach trying to hold the innings together. At 6/78 to he found an ally in Lachlan Spry and they took the score to 96 before the seventh wicket fell.
