'Booster shots' are the key to reducing transmissibility and immunity against this third wave of COVID, as Australians along the east coast adapt to a 'COVID normal' life.
So far over 2800 booster shots have been administered across Griffith according to the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
Chemist Warehouse Griffith Owner Rakhee Rathi said booking in for your booster shot should be on the top of everyone's to do list.
"With cases going up in Griffith it is very important for the safety of everyone that people come and get boosted," Mrs Rathi said.
"Getting boosted is the best way to protect yourself and the community because COVID can affect everyone."
According to Mrs Rathi, Chemist Warehouse had plenty of Pfizer and Moderna boosters in stock.
"I have made sure we have plenty of stock, we can accomodate more people coming in for their third booster dose," Mrs Rathi said.
"Bookings can be made online or people are more than welcome to walk in on the day whilst they are in Griffith Central."

Head Pharmacist at John Dodd Pharmacy Sean Dodd said that with the rollout of vaccines for children ages 5 - 11 and booster shots, the pharmacy was extremely busy.
"When we were onboarded in August as part of the national vaccination rollout majority of Australians had been vaccinated by then so it didn't make a huge difference to us or our workload," Mr Dodd said.
"But now pharmacies are in the thick of it, booster shots and child vaccine doses are the bulk of what we are doing.
"The best thing to do for those wanting to get boosted is call the store and make an appointment for one of our dedicated booster days."
Just recently, the booster interval was shortened to three months from four for those receiving their booster vaccination at a state run clinic, opening up the third dose to an additional 3.55 million people statewide.
