Murrumbidgee Irrigation work to manage excess inflows of water following storms

AT BURSTING POINT: Irrigation channels across the Murrumbidgee have been overflowing with water due to a weeks worth of heavy rain and storms.

Following a week of intense rainfall and winds, Murrumbidgee Irrigation has reached out to local landholders above the East Mirrool Regulator to proactively manage the additional inflows of water through the Mirool Creek system.
