Detectives from Murrumbidgee Police District began their investigation last month following a number of break and enters targeted at businesses, particularly in Yambil Street.
On January 2, police officers raided a home in Heath Crescent, Griffith at 4am. They seized several items including a tool bag which is believed to have been stolen.
On January 4, police stopped a 37-year-old man in Probert Avenue, Griffith, who was then arrested and taken to Griffith police station.
The man was charged with two counts of break and enter house steal, larceny, break and enter dwelling with intent to steal and enter dwelling with intent to steal.
He was refused bail to appear in Wagga Local Court on January 5.
