In collaboration with the Griffith Christian Church Association LifeSource Church will host a free community Christmas lunch on December 25th.
Life long church member and Community Pastor Jamie King said 'everyone and anyone' was welcome to attend the festive event.
"The lunch is for anyone who wants to come along, we are inviting not just our church congregation but the broader community at large," Pastor King said.
"The more the merrier."
Recent data from the Red Cross showed that people are feeling more alone coming up to the second Christmas under the looming banner of COVID-19, making events like this more important than ever to bring community together to celebrate the holidays.

Pastor Rodney Bortolan said the church wanted to especially invite those who would be otherwise spending the holiday alone.
"We don't want anyone spending Christmas by themselves and especially invite these individuals in our community to come along," Pastor Bortolan said.
"The church wants to show people that they are valuable and give to them and show them the love of god," Pastor King said.
For those who are interested in going but don't have transport please contact Pastor King on 0421 781 098.
