The Very Reverend Thomas Leslie from Saint Albans Cathedral gave a Christmas message on the night, sharing a message of love, light and giving this holiday season.
"In the midst of all the business and all the glitter and glam we need to remember that it is all about love," Father Leslie said.
His first Christmas carols in Griffith since being posted to the region 10 months ago, Reverend Leslie told The Area News he thought it was a 'great night for the community'.
"It was wonderful to see so many children having a wonderful time and families getting out there and enjoying a chance to socialise after a year where very few of us have been able to," Reverend Leslie said.
For those you are keen to keep caroling, Saint Albans will be hosting Christmas carols on Sunday December 19th from 7pm.
