More than 90 animals were in attendance at the Griffith Showgrounds, with staff from the RSPCA NSW Outreach team, Vets Beyond Borders, Greencross Vets working tirelessly to improve the health outcomes of Griffiths furry companions.
The event was open to eligible dog and cat owners who reside in the Griffith Local Government Area and hold a pension or healthcare card or be on Jobseeker.

Griffith City Council and Friends of Griffith Pound teamed up to bring the event to Griffith for the first time ever.
"It was a very successful day and we had great positive feedback from all pet owners who brought their dogs and cats along," Mrs Tropeano said.
The 19 cats and 73 dogs that came along also all received free parasite prevention and free food, what a bonus!
Friends of Griffith Pound also sold their discounted desexing vouchers on the day.
This campaign is funded by Griffith City Council and generously subsidised by three local veterinary clinics.
There is no word yet on whether the RSPCA Healthy Pets Day will make a return to Griffith in 2022.
