In October, Murrumbidgee Police District officers opened an investigation into the supply of e-cigarettes or vapes containing nicotine in Griffith.
NSW Health compliance officers assisted police with their investigation and on Thursday, November 25, raided a service station on Griffin Avenue at 9.30am.

Police seized 1230 e-cigarettes containing nicotine which they say has a street value of $55,000.
Following that seizure, a 28-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of restricted substance sold by a non-wholesaler.
The man will face Griffith Local Court on January 19, 2022.
