The board looked over the use of covers, and they have made the decision to allow the use in regular-season matches rather than just in finals games effective immediately on the two grounds at Exies.
Covers will be available for use on weekends where rain is on the forecast from Thursday night, and the clubs will take it in turns to ensure as much cricket is played as possible.
Clubs will work in consultation with ground staff at Exies as to when covers need to be put on and taken off.
There will also be a change of ground on wet weekends for the second first-grade game if it is played at another ground, with the second-grade game slated to be played on Exies 2 moved to another ground.

It wouldn't have an impact on weekends such as the once facing cricketers this weekend with rain falling starting on Wednesday, but will help to lessen the chance of first-grade games being cancelled due to rain falling overnight on Friday, like what happened last weekend.
There will also be a two-point penalty for clubs across all grades for clubs who fail to perform their duty.
