Griffith's community gathered to reflect and honour the service of Australian veterans with a minute's silence, wreath-laying and prayers.
The ceremony was led by Terry Walsh, who served in the Vietnam War and featured wreaths from Griffith City Council, Murrumbidgee Regional High School and the RSL sub-branch along with others.
Ffiona Beverly read the traditional 'In Flanders Fields' poem, followed by a reading of 'The Commemoration of the Fallen' by RSL sub-branch president Hank Veenhuizen.
The community joined together with a playing of the Last Post and a minute's silence before the Reveille and singing 'O God our help in ages past' together.
Finally, Leonie Walton and Pat Cox led the town in a final prayer.
