The summit, the third of it's kind so far, will be hosting a number of speakers in online sessions to discuss the bush's many positive aspects as well as address economic, social and political issues in regional Australia.
The summit this year won't be focused on Griffith as originally intended, but the 2022 full Bush Summit at a later date will be.
Keynote speakers at the event include Premier of NSW Dominic Perrottet, co-founder of Atlassian Mike Cannon-Brookes, and Leader of the Oppposition MP Anthony Albanese along with a full schedule of figures in politics, business and agriculture.
Mayor John Dal Broi said it was disappointing that the Bush Summit could not be held here this year.
"We are a growing centre and this was an opportunity to showcase the wonderful place Griffith is to live and work," said Councillor Dal Broi.
"It is encouraging however, that there is a commitment to still have the Summit in Griffith next year."

While the postponed summit will happen under the purview of the new council elected in December, the $50,000 already pledged to hosting the event will be carried forward. The date of the event hasn't been decided as yet.
