Police have had a piece of cement thrown at them as they arrested a 29-year-old man over an outstanding warrant.

The man was seen by police driving a car on October 16 and they attempted to the vehicle before initiating a pursuit.
The driver exited the car and fled into parkland near Heath Crescent with police following on foot.
Officers caught up with the 29-year-old and arrested him at 10pm. His backpack was searched by officers who say they located a modified gun, drugs and cash.
As officers were arrested the man, a number of residents from the area were watching and entered the park to verbally harassing officers.
A piece of cement was thrown in the direction of police, missing them but striking the police vehicle.
The 29-year-old man was charged with a number of firearm offences and possession of illicit drugs.
He will face Griffith Local Court on November 10.
