The project is almost four years in the making and has come to fruition after careful budgeting, planning and the hard work of the Parents and Careers Association.
"It's a great opportunity for the kids to learn how to play some team sports and learn the rules and just make them feel that our school isn't missing out," Principal of Tharbogang Public School Cheryle Glyde said
According to Mrs Glyde the plans for the project originally looked a little different.
"Originally we were planning for an undercover colo shade area but the P&C were keen to have a facility that had multiple uses for the kids, hence the multisport court," Mrs Glyde said.
"Once we came up with the concept we started allocating funds aside each year."

Over almost four years the small but mighty school were able to put aside $110,000 for the capital works project but saw their budget estimate almost doubled when the school put out a tender process.
"Unfortunately by the time we put out a tender process we were already well over our initial budget estimate," Mrs Glyde said.
"We then put in a funding application for the Regional Renewal Infrastructure Program and weren't successful for the first round but after applying for the second round we were successful and received the funds necessary to complete the project."
The Tharbogang School community are now looking forward to using the new facility by the end of the school year.
"It's all happening fairly quickly now, it's not long now to wait" Mrs Glyde said.
