The Murrumbidgee Local Health District has revealed six venues of concern in the Riverina that are linked to an essential worker who has since tested positive for COVID-19.

The MLHD said anyone who attended the following venues at the times listed below is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
WAGGA
- O'Brien's Wagga Hot Bake Bakery, 89A Morgan Street - Friday September 3, 6.50am to 7am
- Caltex Northend, 170 Fitzmaurice Street - Tuesday August 31, 5.15pm to 5.56pm
- Woolworths, 30 Gurwood Street - Monday August 30, 9.15am to 10am
- Northside Pharmacy, 12 Gurwood Street - Monday August 30, 9.15am to 9.45am
YOUNG
- Young BWS, Boorowa Street - Friday September 3, 3.15pm to 4pm
- Young Woolworths, 263 Boorowa Street - Friday September 3, 3.15pm to 4pm
"NSW Health sends a text message to people who have checked in at close-contact venues with further information," the MLHD said in a statement.
"We also make a follow-up call to close contacts to discuss the isolation and testing requirements."
Anyone with even the mildest of cold-like symptoms has been urged to immediately come forward for testing and isolate until a negative result is received.
Testing is available at the following locations:
- Wagga Equex Centre drive-thru clinic (entry via Copland Street), open 7 days from 10am to 6pm, no appointment necessary.
- Wagga Murray Street clinic, 84 - 86 Murray Street (between the pharmacy and the Australian Red Cross), open 7 days from 9am to 4pm, no appointment necessary.
- Young Town Hall, Boorowa Street, Thursday September 16 from 10am to 4pm, no appointment necessary.
- Young GP-led respiratory clinic, 12 Boorowa Street, from Wednesday to Friday, call 6382 1599 to make a booking or book online at hotdoc.com.au

Earlier on Wednesday, it was revealed contact tracing was under way after an essential worker visited Wagga and Young while potentially infected with COVID-19 at the start of September.
The essential worker tested positive for COVID and was in Wagga from August 30 to September 3 and in Young from September 3 to September 7.
The announcement came just days after COVID fragments were detected in the sewage at Young for the second time.
It was also revealed on Wednesday morning that two Albury residents had tested positive for COVID, bringing an end to the MLHD's run of more than a year without a positive case.
One of the residents is currently self-isolating in Albury, while the other is receiving treatment in Victoria.
Close contact exposure on Central-Albury train service
Meanwhile, NSW Health said it has been notified of a new regional transport route associated with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
Anyone who travelled on the following train service at the listed time is a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result, and call 1800 943 553 unless they have already been contacted by NSW Health.
- Central to Albury, Route 623 - from Central Station, Sydney to Albury Station, Albury on Sunday September 12 between 7.43am and 3.18pm.
"Please get tested even if you have had a test in recent days," NSW Health said.
