The Football Wagga board met on Thursday night where it decided it would formally cancel the season, on the back of the NSW Government's announcement earlier in the day.
"The aspect that most affects us all is that community sport will not be allowed until 80 per cent of NSW's adult population is fully vaccinated," Football Wagga president Tony Dobbin wrote in a letter to clubs.
"This is not expected to occur until October or November and at that time only will those who are double vaccinated will be able to participate."
Football Wagga then also made the difficult decision to not declare any premierships for the 2021 season.
"FWW has also decided that there will be no competition winners this year as too few rounds have been played due to poor weather or COVID lockdown," Dobbin wrote.
"We believe that current tables may not reflect the outcomes of a full home and away season, particularly as in a number of our competitions many clubs have not played each other."
The Pascoe Cup, the senior men's competition, had played 13 of a scheduled 18 rounds before the lockdown occurred.
Hanwood were undefeated with their only slip up a 1-all draw with Wagga United in August after scoring a late equaliser.

Their Leonard Cup were also on top of the ladder, with 11 wins, one loss and a draw from their 13 games.
Football Wagga had been one of the more determined sporting codes in the region to finish their season. They had already pushed back their grand finals to mid-October and clubs as recently as Monday night had met to develop a plan to resume the season.
"We thank all of you for the almost continuous meetings we have had over the last few weeks to go through the COVID issues, and the ideas, suggestions and views you have put to us on behalf of your clubs, your players, your parents, your volunteers, your spectators and your sponsors," Dobbin wrote.
"We are appreciative of the efforts you have made and the willingness to collectively agree on ways forward."
