The statewide lockdown as it stands will be in place until 12:01am on Sunday, with most local businesses either closed, under severe restrictions limiting operation or open as a classified 'essential' business.
And whilst residents of the regions have escaped the economic ramifications sweeping businesses across Greater Sydney over the past few months, a fortnight in lockdown has proven to be a difficult, albeit confusing time for many.
The team at Pinnacle HPC all say communication and education is key to staying informed and afloat during this period.
According to Managing Partner, John Keenan it is important for business owners to understand what support the government is offering.
"The government has implemented a variety of measures to help both individuals and businesses alike," Mr Keenan said.
"The Service NSW site has the most up to date information and support currently available and we are working closely with our clients to submit Grant applications applicable to their circumstances."
Geoff Marin, Principal, said that communication with key stakeholders was 'crucial'.
"Every person and business in Australia is feeling the impact of COVID, communicating with your key stakeholders is essential," Mr Marin said.

"Talk to your team and be open and honest about what is going on, keep in touch with you suppliers particularly if you need to renegotiate any contracts and payment terms."
His colleague, Angela Favell said that the doors at Pinnacle were always open to help local business owners through this challenging time.
"We are having many conversations with a variety of clients to know which avenues to take to see their businesses through this challenging times," Mrs Favell said.
"We are currently with a range of local businesses to help them through not just through the pandemic, but help them come out stronger and more resilient on the other side."
Pinnacle HPCs most recent Principal, Karen Smith said that it was important to stay on top of your mental health.
"Don't discount the toll this last 18 months is taking on you and your team," Mrs Smith said.
"There are many free and confidential services available for businesses including headsup.org."
