Golfers finally enjoyed great weather conditions last weekend at the Griffith Golf Club, having a marked effect on scoring for the 98 players who contested a single stableford last Saturday.

Andrew Romagnolo 37 points won A Grade, firing 78 off the stick, carding 12 pars.
Andrew Noad 36 points runner-up, shooting 79 with nine pars on a countback over Andy Arnold 36 points.
Kieron Edwards 38 points best in B Grade, going around in 83 strokes with eight pars on a countback over Taoloa Toru 38 points, nailing a birdie on the 15th.
Jorge Wood 40 points won C Grade, 22 points out with five pars, 18 home with three pars. Lance Perry 38 points runner-up, draining a birdie on the 8th to go with five pars.
Pins to 4th Matt Rumming, 7th Brad Clark, 8th Stephen Crowe, 11th Steve Matheson, 15th Blake Millis, 16th Jason Magoci.
Vouchers to 33 points.
A solid Sunday field of 55 players contested another single stableford.
Mathew Staines continues to showcase his brilliance, playing off Minus 4, he fired four-under-par 67 to take out A Grade with 36 points.
He won on a countback over Steve Matheson also 36 points on a countback over Gerry Cox and Peter Henderson.
Inform Fusi Fidow 39 points again won B Grade ahead of Ben Jeffery 36 points on a countback over Taoloa Toru 36 points.
Greg Collins 43 points won C Grade, Kevin Dodds 39 points second.
Vouchers to 33 points.
Members are advised that the Course has been rerated from 121 to 118 and white tees will now be used for weekly competitions but may vary on weekends.
The Griffith Golf course is open to social play despite the lockdown.
Play must be in groups of two only, only one to a cart. Do not touch the pins. Masks must be worn around the Pro Shop.
Players must leave as soon as they finish play.
The Clubhouse is closed till further notice.
Juniors Clinics have been cancelled, but private lessons will continue.
Time slots for competition golf have been changed to six minutes in groups of two only. Players must renominate on timesheet.
All this week's events are single stablefords.

John Gale 42 points won Div.1 Kevin Bellew 40 points runner-up
Mike Hedditch 42 points won Div.2, Wal Hood 35 points runner-up.
Bellew won the 7th pin, Skeet Milne 11th, Byron James 16th.
Vouchers went to 33 points.
The Second Round of the Cudmore-Williams Trophy is on at Leeton on Monday, September 6th, subject to lockdown.

A strong Wednesday field of 45 players contested a single Versus Par.
Tiuru Phillip +3 won A Grade from Ngarau Noa +1 on a countback over Jason Magoci.
Albert Donadel Plus 1 best in B Grade pm a countback over Plus 1.
Byron James Plus 4 won C Grade, Ray Mead square second over Graeme Gifford and Peter Clark.
Alan King won both the 7th and 11th pins. Jason Eagled the 15th to win that pin.
