Teams from across country NSW will descend upon Griffith from areas such as the Far South Coast and Dubbo as well as the Riverina as they look to be crowned the best under 12s team.
Chris Piva, who will coach the under 12s side, said it would be a great thrill for the side to be able to play on home turf.
"I think it is the first time in a long time that they have been able to host," he said.
"We are always travelling away to play Gala days, so having the opportunity to play here makes it really exciting for them."
With the best of country NSW coming to their doorstep, Piva knows his side will be in for a challenge.
"Having teams from everywhere in NSW, you don't know where they are actually at," he said.
"You have to go into every game not know what is there, and I think every game will be tough."

Despite not really knowing what to expect, the Griffith coach is confident his side have what it takes to take home the trophy.
"They love playing, and they love winning, so hopefully, that will play a big part in it," he said.
"These kids love play, and we have boys and girls, which is something that we really push for. It doesn't just have to be boys we are quite happy to give the girls a run if they are at the same level and have them playing and developing."
Griffith will kick off against Shoalhaven and District at 8.30am on Saturday.
