The tightness of the clash had the supporters on the edge of their seat with the Swans heading into the first break with a one-point advantage while heading into the main break, the sides were level on 21-all, but the Bulldogs had had more scoring shots.
The sides were again inseparable, with both sides kicking two goals in the third term to be level at 33-all before the Swans were able to hold the Bulldogs goalless in the final term while kicking one of their own to take a 6.9 (45) to 4.11 (35) victory.

It was another tough weekend for the Swans first-grade side as they fell to a 12.18 (90) to 5.10 (40) defeat at the hands of the Bulldogs.
