Griffith police have charged a third man over the assault.
On Monday, three men aged 30, 21 and 22 will face Wagga Local Court.
The 22-year-old man was arrested after he attended Griffith police station at 5.45pm on Sunday.
He as charged with assaulting police, resisting police, remaining in the area of a licensed premises after being excluded, assault and intimidate or intend fear from physical harm.
UPDATE, 6pm
A second man will also face court over the incident tomorrow after turning himself in to police earlier this afternoon.
A 21-year-old man from the ACT was arrested after attending Griffith police station at 1pm on Sunday.
He was charged with assaulting police, causing actual bodily harm, reckless wounding in company, remaining in the area of a licensed premises after being excluded and intimidate or intend fear from physical harm.
EARLIER
About 11pm on Saturday, officers were inspecting a licenced premises on Banna Avenue when security guards approached them about a group of four men who had been refused entry.
Two officers spoke to the men and told them to move on.
It's alleged that one of the men, aged 30, punched a security guard in the head.
A police statement said when officers tried to intervene, he knocked a 24-year-old male constable to the ground and punched him to the head before also punching a 32-year-old female probationary constable to the head.

The men then left the scene.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on Banna Avenue after a short foot pursuit.
He was taken to Griffith Police Station, where he was charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer in the execution of duty cause actual bodily harm, two counts of reckless wounding - in company, affray and excluded person remain in vicinity of licensed premises.
He was refused bail to appear before Wagga Court on Monday.
The two officers were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Griffith Base Hospital. They remain in a stable condition.
The male officer suffered severe cuts to his head, and chin requiring stitches and the female officer sustained injuries to her head and a cut to the inside of her mouth requiring stitches.
Both officers suffered several other cuts and abrasions.
