For the Swans, it presents them with a chance to put in a full four-quarter performance which has been a struggle for the side in recent games against the top sides in the competition.
With the bye over the long weekend coming up, Dreyer said it would be a great boost to take two points into the break.
"Of course it is, but you just have to assess like you do every week and try to improve, but we are still trying to set the same goals and just be better at it this week," he said.
"It would be nice to have a win just to get the boys a bit of morale because you lose a few games, and it can be hard to keep the enthusiasm going, so from that point of view, it would be nice."
The tough run of games against Wagga, Coolamon and GGGM has given the Swans a chance to give a chance to their top juniors like Jay Summers and Patrick Payne and give them a taste of first-grade football.
"They have settled in very well," he said.
"You get that little bit of inconsistency in their game at times. Jay, particularly last week, was very good, and so was his second half against Coolamon, and he has kicked on from that, and that was Paddy second game.
"Ganmain were a bit of a bigger and stronger side, so it was a good experience for them."

With the Ovens and Murray League still on break, there was a chance Jacob and Lucas Conlan could feature to the Swans again this weekend, but Dreyer said they won't play due to other commitments with their team in Albury.
Meanwhile, the reserves will be looking to continue their strong start to the season after they picked up a 58-point win over GGGM Lions and stay just a win behind top spot.
The under 17s will be looking to build on a huge win and maintain their unbeaten start to the season when they take on the eighth-placed Narrandera side.
