The Blueheelers were able to make a solid start to the afternoon, with Blake Wood finding his way over in the opening minute as they search for their opening win of the season.
The early concession sparked the Roosters into life as Ben Jeffery, making his return from a four-game suspension, found his way over the line four minutes later.
The tries continued to flow for the Roosters, with Jeffery getting his second before two tries in the space of four minutes to Drew Hopwood had the DPC side leading 18-6 after the first twenty minutes.

The Roosters second win of the season sees them rise to fourth ahead of Waratahs Tigers due to their superior points difference while Yenda's search for their first points of the season goes on.
