The former Black and Whites junior and Hanwood Public School student moved to Newcastle recently and has only just made a move to playing rugby.
Despite being a newcomer to the sport, she did enough to gain the interest of the Hunter representative side, where she was selected in the under 14s team.
They went through the championship undefeated, and Cema scored the opening try of the final, which they won 26-5 over the Central Coast.
Cema was one of the lucky players who gained the attention of selectors for the NSW Country side and will next take on NSW City for a chance to be selected in the NSW state and will also represent Hunter for the State Championship to be held on the June long weekend.

Cema's father Eddy said none of this would be possible without out the hard work of Greg Hodgson and Corey Noble, who are coaches at her club side Southern Beaches as well as representative coaches Steve Barretto and Wendy Whittaker. Eddy said Cema was blown away by her selection.
"She was rapped," he said.
"Because she is on the wing and is a good size, she finished really well, and they would have seen that."
