This is phase 2a of three phases in total. While recipients eligible from earlier phases will be prioritised, registrations are open for anyone over 50, as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people between 16 and 49-years-old.
The vaccinations for the Murrumbidgee are available at five hubs; in Wagga Wagga, Gundagai, Griffith, Young and Deniliquin.
The next phase will include people aged between 16 and 49, before the final phase opens vaccinations up to those under 16.

Principal of the Wagga Wagga Vaccination Hub, Associate Professor Ayman Shenouda is urging everyone eligible to register for the vaccine, saying that the rollout is vital in protecting yourself and your family.
"The currently available vaccines are safe, effective and free and I would encourage people aged over 50 years to book an appointment at one of the region's vaccination hubs as soon as possible."
Acting CEO of the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network Julie Redway is also encouraging everyone to visit a vaccination hub, saying they are a critical element of the national rollout.
"With our region's vaccination hubs now able to vaccinate anyone from Phase 1a and 1b cohorts, and those eligible over the age of 50 years in the 2a cohort, more people in our community can be vaccinated against the virus," Ms Redway said in a statement.
