Both a dawn service and a main service will be held in Memorial Park this year, but there will be restrictions on how many people can attend each event.
Vietnam War veteran and Griffith resident Greg Walton said even an event with restrictions will be an improvement to last year.
Coming up here to Memorial Park for the service really gets at your heart and I'm glad we can have it again even with the restrictions

"It was horrendous. I was like a lot of people last year, stood at the end of my driveway with a candle but it just wasn't the same at all," Mr Walton said.
"Coming up here to Memorial Park for the service really gets at your heart. It's amazing and I'm glad we can have it again even with the restrictions."
Anzac Day is one of the most important days on the calendar for Mr Walton and he said it was crucial Australians continued to pay respect to those who lost their lives fighting for their country.
"It's very important that the nation remembers what happened. So many young fellas lost their lives so this country can be free and easy," he said.
Fellow Vietnam veteran Hank Veenhuizen echoed this sentiment.
"A lot of us think about the people we served with every day and a lot of people in Griffith were relatives with someone who served," Mr Veenhuizen said.
"It's a day not just to remember those that went before us, but those that went after us as well."
A maximum of 1000 people will be permitted to attend the dawn service on April 25, while 2000 will be allowed into the fenced off park for the main service.

Due to restrictions, the large march down Banna Avenue will not be taking place and instead there will be a small march with returned servicemen and women.
To secure a spot at one of the services, Griffith residents will need to get a ticket in advance.
Free tickets are currently available from the Griffith Ex-Servicemen's Club, Griffith City Council administration building, the Griffith City Library or online through Eventbrite.
