Phase 1b of the national COVID-19 vaccine rollout began in Griffith last month, meaning health workers, residents over 70, Aboriginal residents over 55 and those at high risk could receive their first dose of the vaccine.
An initial rush saw hundreds of Griffith residents book themselves in and receive the vaccine, but this surge appears to have since petered off.
Keith Fletcher, the CEO of MyPrac, which owns Your Health Griffith, said "the speed of future bookings" has become a concern in recent days.
"The number of people booking themselves in has definitely slowed down."
According to Mr Fletcher, there is "absolutely" a significant number of people in Griffith who are eligible but haven't yet received the vaccine.
"If you're eligible you should get the vaccine, because the sooner everyone is vaccinated and protected from the virus, the sooner we can return to normal," he said.
Kookora Surgery also suffered a similar drop in bookings.
Practice manager Corinne Webb said she was not sure what had caused the drop off, but suggested it may be related to concerns raised in the media and confusion over who is eligible.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration is currently investigating the case of a 44 year old Victorian man who developed clots after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Similar investigations are taking place overseas.

Mrs Webb encouraged any Griffith residents who have concerns or questions to contact their GP and discuss it with them.
She said Kookora Surgery is "ready for more" bookings and residents should see if they are eligible using the Health Department's eligibility checker and book themselves in.

Griffith residents can receive the vaccine at Your Health Griffith, Kookora Surgery and the Griffith Medical Centre.
More than 840,000 Australians have received a COVID-19 vaccine, including more than 126,000 people in NSW.
