WITH the clock ticking down to opening night of Leeton's Henry V production, tickets have now gone on sale.
Requests for presale tickets have been strong for the April event, which is being headlined by Leeton actor Jake Speer.
Living back in his hometown now, Mr Speer said he had felt the bubbling excitement and support on the ground for the production.
"It's been incredible to see how many people have thrown up their hands to be involved," he said.
"The enthusiasm and excitement are infectious and so inspiring for me.
"Over the past five weeks of rehearsals not only have we seen people's confidence grow and new friendships form, but every member of the Henry V company, both on stage and behind it, has risen to every challenge put before them."
IN OTHER NEWS:
The whole production team, led by Mr Speer, have been working tirelessly in ensuring every detail is nailed down from the props and lights to every line and every move.
According to Mr Speer the real "x-factor" of the show is the community's involvement.
"This production has really proven to me the overwhelming desire and enthusiasm from the community for high-quality local entertainment," he said.
"We could not do this without the commitment from all the volunteers who are constantly pushing the boundaries to deliver this ambitious production.
"I'm incredibly proud to have so many people from communities from across the region, from different backgrounds and industries involved in this production."
Now, it's time to add the final ingredient - the audience.
Henry V will be an event for people from all across the Riverina, and beyond, to enjoy. The performance will run over five nights from April 21 to April 24.
It will also be the last live performance to grace the Roxy Theatre stage before it closes for redevelopment.
