The council's first meeting for the year is set for Wednesday, February 10.
The office is maned most of the time, 9.30am to 2pm. On occasions where the office is unattended, the numbers listed on the signage can be called.
Even with the times when the office was not open, we were busy with all types of things community.
Housing, visa enquiries, passport applications, remote meetings for advocacy and information.
Italian life forms: This is a very important function that elderly residents that are part of the Italian pension plan need to fill in and send off once they receive the notice.
However, the service has been delayed to June 2021 and so those that are to be affected need not do anything till they become notified once again.
Enough time is given to those elderly that are in the system and therefore not need to panic and just wait to be notified yet again.
Harmony Day 2021: A taste of Harmony will be held once again in March 2021. Further details will be forthcoming.
Remember that Harmony Day can be celebrated through schools, work and community. Anyone can participate.
The purpose of Harmony Day is to share the diversity of the community via food, art and craft, recipes which may be collated in a booklet or individual.
Sharing and connecting with others via events, small or otherwise are welcome.
