Bowlers were right on top in the game between the Strikers and the Heat. The Strikers could only muster 6/58 (ave 9.6) but that was enough to better the Heat's 10/69.(ave 6.9). Alec Brady (20) and Charlie Bunn (18) were the stand out batsmen for the Strikers. Archie Leach (8) was next best.

Thomas Bray and Miles Condon both picked up 2 wickets for the Heat. Thomas (20) also topped the run scoring for the Heat. Roy Condon (13) helped the score along. The most successful bowlers for Strikers were Eliza Rawle and Charlie Bunn who both took 2 wickets.
The Hurricane's batsman were in devastating form in their game against the Sixers. Vai Patel racked up 30 runs in his 2 overs at the crease. Varis Gill (20), Ollie Nancarrow (19) and Titan Vasta (17) made runs in their teams big score 2/129. Ruby Kenny was the only Sixers bowler who tasted success.
The Sixers struggled to 10/66. Their major run scorer was Jordy James (17) and Rylan Oldham (17) backed him up. The Hurricane's wicket takers included Daniel Taylor, Varis Gill and Titan Vasta who captured 2 wickets each.
The Stars continued on their winning way notching up a score for 7/152 and restricted the Thunder to 11/67. Luke Ramsey (30) continued his run of form.
Matthew Andrighetto (29) has also been a regular run scorer for the Stars. Lachlan Spry contributed 19, Nate Mingay ,18 and Jake Suine 17.
Jake Breen bowled well to pick up 2 wickets for the Thunder. Jake (18) also did well with the bat. Josh Taprell (20) topped the scoring.
The Stars bowlers shared the wickets. Matthew Andrighetto and Lachlan Spry were the most successful with 2 wickets each.
This weeks Cricket of the Week is Varis Gill for his all-round effort for the Hurricanes.
SENIOR BINKS/TUCKER
Lyon's batsman put in an impressive performance against Finch, knocking up a score of 4/147. Yash Rathi (34) took the long handle to the Finch bowling attack.
Riley Sillis (26) played a great supporting role and Jaxon Ison (24) followed up his good batting performance from last week.
Jugal Patel (21) got in on the act and Eric Molloy added 16. Will Ruggeri (3/30) put in a steady bowling performance. Finch's batsman could not match the Lyon inning, ending their innings at 9/73. Ben Virago (20) made their top score.
Will Ruggeri topped off a good day with 18 runs and Cormac Skaliotis made 13. Jugal Patel (4/7) bowled a match winning spell. Mitch Argent-Smith chipped in with 2/4 and Yash Rathi with 2/5.
Cummins won a close tussle with Smith. Their score of 7/125 was enough to secure a win against their opponents who made 7/102. Cummins big guns, Ted Files (31), Fletcher Kelly (32) and Dean Suine (26) set the stage for Cummins big score.
Daniel Mitchell was Smiths most consistent bowler capturing 3/9 and Reif Leach claimed 2/17. Reif (25) led the scoring for Smith, well supported by Brad Whitworth (21). Daniel Mitchell (17) made useful runs for Smith.
Cummins bowling honours were shared between Ted Files (3/11), Manex Vaster (2/23) and Fletcher Kelly (2/22).
A solid all round performance in a losing team has earned Reif Leach this week's Cricketer of the Week Award.
