Each year the Griffith's Combined Churches help arrange a Christmas lunch for those who don't have anyone to celebrate with, and those who can't afford such luxuries.

This year organising duties have fallen to the Presbyterian Church - who also have to navigate COVID-19 concerns.

So, instead hampers with non-perishable sweets, treats and food will be shared for those who would normally attend the community Christmas lunch.
"Presbyterian Social Services have provided all the funds for the hampers we are going to distribute," she said.
Volunteers will distribute the hampers before Christmas.
"For people who normally attend the community Christmas lunch, they can call or stop by the Presbyterian Church to request a hamper," Mrs Huckel said.
People will need to register for a hamper by Friday, December 11, with the deliver of the hampers set for December 19.
