With COVID-19 impacting on many sports across the region it did not stop the Griffith Junior Rugby Union Club entering teams in a compacted Southern Inland Junior Rugby Union competition with teams in the Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 age divisions for the boys.

The highlight of the truncated 2020 season was the introduction of an all-girls tackle competition, with Griffith entering its Blackbirds in the Under 15 and Under 17 age groups.
While no premiership trophies were on offer, Griffith can lay claim to being provisional champions in the Under 14 boys and Under 15 girls divisions with both teams going through the season unbeaten.
This season's awards went to:
Most Improved: Henry Parsons (U12), Hayley Burke & Rachel-Rose Priest (U15), Yanga Marela (U16) and Minata Misi (U17)
Coaches Award: Reese Vidler (U12), Alex Forlico (U14), Sabrina Marela (U15) and Grace Wilkes-Bowes (U17)
Players' Player: Luke Canon (U14), Jay Summers (U16)
Best & Fairest: Matt Adams (U12) Jasvir Singh-Clark (U14), Alex Parisotto (U15), Memeite Siale(U16) and Charli Cunial (U17).
The club also held their annual general meeting with Sam McLeod was elected club president and will be supported on the executive committee by vice-presidents Clint Robertson and Will Garcia; secretary Kylee Parsons; treasurer Kate Morshead; and registrar Melissa Williment.
