The Demons have featured in the men's final every season but have been pipped at the final hurdle by West Wyalong on both occasions.
Griffith coach Arch Cullen is confident his side has what it takes even without one of their best performers from last weekend.
"We will be missing Liam Blanch, and he provides good scoring for us, and he played well on the weekend so that will hurt us, but there is no reason why (they can't win)," he said.
"We have enough weapons out there that can step up and take on his role."
The Wildcats will face off with Leeton earlier in the day to decide who faces off with the Demons and Cullen didn't believe there would be much separating the sides and knows whoever they face they can't take lightly despite picking up wins against both sides last weekend.
"I'll go with Wyalong, but there is no reason Leeton can't beat them," he said.
"We beat both teams by 20, but both opposing sides just had pretty bad days from the floor so anyone could still beat anyone.
"If we have a bit of an off day and they could have a better one, and that would close the gap up pretty quick."
Whoever they do face in the final, Cullen feels his side's success will be built off the back of the hard work of one of his taller boys.
"Nathan Richards is important for us with his bigger presence," he said.
"We don't have a lot of big people, so he needs to attract that crowd in low and get our shooters open.
"If he isn't active early, it can put pressure on outside shooters, and that is really our strength because most guys on the team can shoot reasonably well.
We really need him to set a plateau and then again the guards need to step up and knock down shots."
The men's final will get underway at around 4pm on Saturday at West Wyalong Stadium.
