A car left overnight on the side of the road was torched. At 9.40pm on Saturday, November 7, a man stopped his Toyota Hilux on Kalinda Road after the gearbox began to malfunction. The driver locked the vehicle and left where it was stopped on the side of the road, intending to return to get the Hilux running again. The man returned to the car at 9.30am on Sunday only to find the car had been burned out. Police are investigating.
