Playing in the Doms Motors sponsored event, he finished the four rounds in four under par 280, following rounds of 68,70,69,73, the first time in memory that an under-par score has won the title.
Amazingly, he also won the handicap, playing off a Plus 3 handicap, having to add three shots to his handicap, winning with 292 nett.
Another young gun and past champion, Josh Stapleton was runner-up, just not able to keep the bogies away, firing a four-round total of 295, with rounds of 72,74,74,75.
In other results, A Reserve champ, Adrian Smith 84,83,87,84=338.Runner-up Toby Maher 89,87,79,85=340, also winning handicap on 292 nett.
B Grade Scratch winner Brendon Peters 87,81,90,87=355. Runner-up Joshua Smith 93,86.96,90=365.Smith also defended his Junior title he won last year on 365, a great result. Handicap winner Brendon Peters 299 nett.
C Grade winner Chich Graham 97,100,94,91=382. Runner-up Tom Watson 94,101,105,92=392,he also won Handicap on 288 nett.
D Grade scratch winner Michael Waanders 102,109,111,110=432. Runner-up Michael Vitucci 107,105,109,112=433. Waanders also won handicap on 288nett.
The Doms Motors sponsored event had its most successful year with over90 players contesting each of the four days.

Toby Maher fired 79 off the stick to win A Grade on 67 nett. Nathan Campbell second, 82 -70 nett. Gavin Aventi 70 nett won B Grade ahead of Shane Gaffey 73 nett.
Brad Clark with the best score of the day, 64 nett easily won C Grade from Ray Greig 74 nett. Vouchers to 77 nett.
Another solid field of 90 players contested Sundays single stroke. Jason Magoci got it together, firing 74 off the stick to take out A Grade on 71 nett, on a countback over Graham Richens 71 nett, 82 off the stick.
In B Grade, John Harrison 72 nett won from Brendon Hicken 73 nett on a countback over Brendon Peters and James Browne.
Hot scores in C Grade, Tom Watson winning with 67 nett , Rob Favero 69nett runner-up. Josh Stapleton Eagled the 8th. Vouchers to 78 nett.
The veterans played a single stableford last Thursday in two grades. Ken Alpen 38 points won Div 1, Michael Catanzariti 36 points second on a countback over Tony McBride. Graeme Gifford 37 points won Div. 2, Bill Brown 34 points second. Vouchers to 29 points.
A single stableford last Wednesday with 44 players. Steve Matheson 39 points won A Grade ahead of Paul Robinson 36 points.
Lance Gilbert 40 points best in B Grade, John Badoco 39 points second. Graeme Gifford 36 points won C Grade from Jorge Wood 35 points on a countback over Frank Zambon, John Brennick. Graham Sibraa eagled the 5th. Vouchers to 31 points.
