Antarctica flyover
While we might not be able to go overseas at the moment, from November, you can see Antarctica from the air on a Qantas charter flight to the icy continent. The flight doesn't touch down, which technically still makes it a domestic flight.
The daytrip, which lasts about 13 hours, will depart from Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane or Melbourne. Qantas operates the flyovers in partnership with Antarctica Flights and this is the first time they will be on the new 787 Dreamliner.
Antarctica Flights CEO Bas Bosschieter says it's a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity". "There is no passport or luggage needed for an Antarctica flight, you can even go in board shorts if you wish," he told 7news. Prices start from $1199 per person.
