The visitors hit the ground running and were able to make the early breakthrough when Dean Catanzariti hit the back of the net just 10 minutes into the first half.
Coach Sante Donadel felt that early goal helped his side settle.
"We didn't know what to expect, and I thought we dominated the first half," he said.
"Getting the early goal was helpful. Then we kind of went to sleep when they got more physical in the second half.
"We have a small team, and I think they worked that out by halftime. For 20-25 minutes of the second half, they probably dominated us."
Yoogali were able to whether that story even when they were temporarily reduced to 10-men when Liam Roddie was sin-binned for dissent and was able to put the game to bed when Jordan Serena scored in the 85th minute.
"It was good to get the second goal with about five minutes to go to give us a bit of a buffer," he said.
"They had a good chance with about 30 seconds to go, but Luke Armanini pulled off a good save and it was scrambled well out of the box and as soon as that was cleared the whistle went."
Donadel praised the work of his central defensive pairing in a physical game.
"Jordan Baveresco and Samuel Raciti they were excellent," he said.
"They are big boys, and they gave what they got."
