Given that the October is still quite a while away, at our meeting we decided to work towards holding the Multicultural Festival.
If the situation keeps improving the community and visitors would enjoy a fun day after the anxiety that COVID has created for everyone, however, if the situation changes then the festival will be rescheduled to another time.
In the meantime, stallholders, participants and performers, keep planning for the festival.
Griffith City Council has put on display the proposed plan for the new Griffith Cemetery for the next few weeks.
This is an important future facility for the Griffith community and so it is important that you have your say. It can be a few a lines in an email or a letter, either way have your say.
Check out the proposal and put in a submission to the council, whether as an individual or as a group.
